Deborah is a commercial interior designer and specialty ceramic vessel artist. Deborah enjoys wheel-throwing her pots and then using unique glazing and texturing techniques to enhance her vessels. Lately Deborah has been wood firing her vessels, and we are showing these exclusively at The Little PLUCKY. Woodfiring is atmospheric firing —- meaning the wood also glazes the pieces in addition to traditional glazes. Depending upon where the pieces are placed in the kiln —-closer to the heat affects the glazes and the amount of ash laid down on the pieces .
