Tangiers

Created by the Founder of Piermont Straus Gallery, Laura Straus, this series traces her voyage through the visual lexicon of the early 20th century. By taking a long look at artists working in Fauvism, Expressionism, Cubism, and Surrealism, the artist traces the works that inspired her, and looks to develop her own unique place in art. These watercolors represent the beginning of her discourse after a 30 year hiatus from painting, and have recently been influenced by her travels in Morocco.
 
Unframed 16” x 20” reproductions are signed limited edition prints of 100. Reproductions are printed on watercolor paper with a raglan edge.
